I’ll say it again: there’s absolutely nothing that Trump does that is surprising if you follow #MAGA and #QAnon. Everything he does is something his Base has long been demanding, and every demented conspiracy he pushes is common knowledge on MAGA and, more disturbingly, on QAnon. Trump is not an original thinker, he’s never had an original thought in his head. People on MAGA have been demanding that the refugees seized by ICE be dumped in sanctuary cities since last year, at least. So Trump announces he will do it, claiming it as his idea all along, and MAGA agrees and calls him a genius. Promises made, promises kept.

My saxophonist pal Chuck Manning took this shot last year from the JPL parking lot. I had thought it was some NASA publicity stunt. But no, it was real, and someone called ICE who found a couple leprechauns at its end, impounded their gold, seized their pot and deported them back to Ireland.
Lies, hate and dengue fever

Ya know, people can rant all they want making up lies about dengue fever being spread by undocumented Honduran children and it will have no health effects on anybody, you either get bit by an infected mosquito or not. All this does is encourage racism. It’s not even an immigration thing, if it were they’d be warning us against anyone who came from a tropical region, legal immigrants, returning vacationers, business travelers, even people who went to the World Cup. But they don’t. This isn’t about immigration policy and it’s not about public health. This is just about racists who can’t stand the sight of little brown babies. This is just hate, pure hate.
Congressman Phil Gringey MD, says illegal immigrant children will give you dengue fever. It’s one thing to be an ignorant politician. It’s quite another to be a lying doctor.
